DY6 Metals Limited, an Australia Stock Exchange-listed company specializing in strategic metals exploration, is gearing up to start a reconnaissance program at its promising platinum group elements (PGE) project at Ngala Hill in southern Malawi.

This initiative marks a significant step forward for the company as it seeks to tap into the rich deposits of heavy rare earths and niobium in the region.

The company has already begun engaging with local community members at the project site to raise awareness about the upcoming exploration activities.

Company's Chief Executive Officer, Lloyd Kaiser said this early interaction is crucial for fostering a positive relationship between the company and the local populace, ensuring smooth operations as the exploration progresses.

"Our team in Malawi has actively built strong relationships with local communities across our projects,"- Kaiser said.

"This early engagement at Ngala Hill is setting the foundation between the company and the community as we prepare to mobilize the geo team and embark on our first exploration campaign at Ngala."

Ngala Hill is known for its three key target zones of palladium-rich mineralization, identified through historical trenching and limited drill testing.

DY6 Metals plans to conduct a rock chip and soil sampling program to follow up on these high-grade areas and potentially expand the zone of mineralization.

The Ngala Hill ultramafic chonolith, an arcuate-shaped intrusion measuring approximately 2.4 km by 0.7 km, was intruded into the underlying Proterozoic basement complex gneisses.

The project area is characterized by an intrusive ultramafic suite of pyroxenites. Initial work at Ngala Hill in the late 1960s included geochemical sampling programs carried out by the British and Malawian Geological Surveys.
