Rayoni Holdings Limited (RAHOL) is in the final stages of preparation for its inaugural flights under its new brand, Rayoni Tourism Airline, set to launch in the coming months.

RAHOL’s Public Relations and Communications Manager, Alex Ngulube, made the announcement following the company's receipt of an Air Operator Certificate (AOC) from the Malawi Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).

Ngulube highlighted that Rayoni Tourism Airline will leverage the newly acquired AOC to become RAHOL’s commercial airline brand.

This strategic move is aimed at promoting Malawi’s tourism sector, with a particular focus on the largely unexplored Northern Region, known for its rich cultural heritage and scenic beauty.

"The Air Operator Certificate is a testament to our commitment to providing safe and reliable air transportation services. We plan to operate a modern fleet that will prioritize exceptional customer service and the safety and well-being of all passengers," Ngulube said.

"The AOC, awarded by the CAA, reflects compliance with stringent safety and regulatory standards, aligning with international aviation requirements."

This certification allows Rayoni Tourism Airline to offer a range of services, including scheduled, unscheduled, and charter flights within Malawi and beyond.

Ngulube believes RAHOL’s entry into the aviation market is expected to create jobs, stimulate economic growth, and further enhance the travel and tourism experience in Malawi.
