A Rwandan businessman residing in Lilongwe, Jacques Tuyizere, has won K250 million kwacha by playing Betpawa's Aviator game.

Tuyizere, who started playing Aviator in January, placed two bets which hit a multiplier of 2,500, earning him the highest payout of K125 million each.

"From the first time I played the game, I knew this was the one for me. I was really hopeful about winning and quite sure that eventually, I would see the plane reach where I wanted it to. I felt fulfilled when I finally hit the maximum limit. When I won, I had a huge smile that I still have up until now," Tuyizere said.

Meanwhile, Betpawa's Southern Africa Marketing Manager, Bwalya Noah, assured the company's commitment to ensuring that customers receive their payments when they win.

"We have had the pleasure of paying out huge amounts to all our winners across Africa as part of our service proposition on guaranteed payments when one wins. This is why today we are happy to celebrate yet another big winner," she said.

Tuyizere joins a long list of Betpawa's big winners as the betting brand increasingly becomes synonymous with record wins on its casino games and sportsbook.

This is the second big win for a Betpawa customer in Malawi in a month.

On April 29 this year, another player, Francis Chigudu, won K125 million.

In February, another Lilongwe-based player, Steve, won K174.2 million on Aviator.
