The Pacific group Limited through its Borehole rehabilitation project has reaffirmed its full commitment in complementing the government's efforts in making sure that the citizenry are drinking safe and clean water.
Abdul majeed, the team leader for the Pacific group Borehole rehabilitation project disclosed this in traditional authority Ndamera in Nsanje south constituency where the company is rehabilitating for free all the broken boreholes.
The pacific group Borehole rehabilitation project's commitment remarks comes after it has received a recognition in its free borehole rehabilitation drive by the minister of finance and economical planning honorable Simplex Chithyola Banda .
Speaking when he presented the 2024-2025 national budget in the parliament , finance minister, Simplex Chithyola Banda hailed the Pacific group Limited Borehole rehabilitation project in its quest to ensuring that women and girls are accessing clean water.
” Under the water and sanitation, the government would like to recognize the private sector, by singling out the Pacific Limited which is rehabilitating for free some broken boreholes across the country Simplex Chithyola Banda narrated."
Therefore abdul majeed said that their are now motivated by the government’s recognition.
" As the pacific group Borehole rehabilitation project we have intensified our quest to providing clean water to the people by repairing some boreholes majeed said."
Malawians now have ease of water after pacific has come into the picture and due to this initiative billions of hours have been saved in the rural areas of malawi in the search of clean water.
The pacific group Borehole rehabilitation project since its inception in 2015 it has repaired 7000 plus broken boreholes across the country for free as part of its social corporate responsibility.
